Pricing a White Paper

Original Post:
I need to quote a price for writing a white paper (freelance). I'd
welcome any suggestions of what market rates might be. Figure about
ten pages, and fee should include time to learn the technology. Is
$1600 + VAT in the ballpark? $2000? More?

Comments:
Can you guess who many hours it will take you to complete? If so, I’d recommend using the number of hours you think it will take you to complete it times your hourly rate.

As for hourly rate, I’d recommend between $70 - $100 per hour, maybe even more.
